The Project

    • Revamp and Expansion of Existing CDU/ Gas Plants for 50% higher crude oil processing capacity
    • Adding a New light Naphta Isomerisation unit & a New DHDS Unit
  • Main Contractors: Technip will carry out the engineering consultancy contract, which covers conceptual design, licensors’ selection, basic design, front-end design, engineering procurement and construction (EPC) contractors’ selection and coordination as well as the definition of the expansion to comply with the new regulations.
  • Naftec, 100% subsidiary of the Sonatrach Group and the Group of Hyundai Engineering & Construction and its partners Hawha and Daewoo Engineering & Construction LTD conducted Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at the headquarters of the Directorate General of Sonatrach, the signing of a contract for the rehabilitation of facilities at the refinery of Arzew, increasing its production capacity by 50% and the adaptation of plants to produce fuels to European standards.
